Overview

Aktios Factory is an IT consulting company expert in information technologies specializing in consulting, management, project execution, ecommerce, and outsourcing. This client did not have a website and needed to build both an identity and a website from scratch. The basic requirements were that it should be connected to the parent company's website and have a modern design.

Problem

When this project came to me, nothing had been developed—there was no website or brand image to base the designs on. The client didn’t have anything in place, so they gave me the freedom to develop an image from scratch. Their only requirement was that it convey modernity, technology, youth, and a current digital feel.

Solution

I designed a website with an editorial style, featuring large texts and slogans, dark colors mixed with a technology-related color palette, moving gradient backgrounds, and many interactive components such as vertical and horizontal carousels. All of this was aimed at creating a responsive, attractive, and straightforward website.

Navigation tree

Due to a lack of time and team members (I did everything on my own), the most important step in organizing the website was working on the navigation tree.

It was quite extensive, but it helped me structure the different pages and subpages, organizing the information in a clear and intuitive way.

Wireframes

For the wireframe work, I focused on building wireframes for both desktop and mobile, always keeping a mobile first approach in mind.

This part of the project was fun, as I really enjoyed experimenting with the dynamic nature of the various components.

UI Inspiration

For UI inspiration, I mainly looked at current tech companies, focusing on modern components, design, and structure, with a dynamic feel, lots of movement, and trendy design elements.

Gradients, moving backgrounds, horizontal carousels, dark backgrounds, and very large texts all very futuristic and tied to technology.

Color Inspiration

I was inspired by the tech industry’s innovative spirit, using blue and purple gradients to convey trust, creativity, and sophistication.

The smooth transition between these colors reflects technology’s constant evolution and gives the website a modern, engaging, and futuristic look.

Sounds like
a fit?
